In addition to this, one other thing you’ll want to avoid in terms of choosing a gelateria includes paying attention to places that claim to sell “fresh” gelato made out of fruits or ingredients that aren’t even in season. Why? Because it’s a dead giveaway that what you’re tasting isn’t real fruit, just some sort of artificial sweetener.
