Solidarity in our culture is a big value. We are always ready to help our family, friends and neighbors. Also, our country is open to new cultures and brazilians are specialists in welcoming people from all over the world. If you share the feeling of solidarity, you will feel like at home in Brazil.
The project goal is to create the opportunity for teenagers, from 10 to 16 years old, to improve their skills. Also provide to the students conditions for learning experiences in an environment of free expression and appreciation of human diversity.
The school was founded in 1992 and was the first High School in Itabira, a small town in Minas Gerais state.
The volunteer will assist the english teacher during classes and also to develop activities after school. The activities are: sports, dance, music, arts or professional’s workshops. Also the volunteer can suggest other activities according to his/her skills and knowledge. He or she will be invited to get involved at school’s events.
