Join our new Community Development project in Accra, Ghana and become a key member in assisting to lay the foundations of this sustainable project.
Interns working on our community development programs in Ghana will be partnering with local partner organisations in the area. The particular issues they will be tackling will be decided by these local organisations but interns can expect to get involved in projects addressing issues related to education, healthcare, gender equality or construction projects.
Our community development internships aim to contribute to a selection of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including Goal #4 – Quality Education, #5 – Gender Equality and #10 – Reduced Inequalities.
A typical day on this internship will include teaching English or Maths, working on construction projects or conducting awareness workshops in the form of discussion groups covering topics like healthcare, gender equality, or professional skills development.
Volunteers will also receive a certified leadership training course which has been endorsed by ILM (International Leadership & Management).
You may choose to take part in this program for either 6, 8, 10 or 12 weeks. Please contact us for more details.
