Glamping site at magic hour

If you’ve ever wanted to become one with nature while still maintaining comfort, glamping is a pretty surefire way to do so. Sleep amongst the stars and in the desert with nothing but trees surrounding you, and wake up to the sound of silence while enjoying the stillness of the great outdoors, all without going through the hassle of setting up a tent. It sounds dreamy, right? There are plenty of places around the globe to go glamping, with popular spots like Jordan’s Wadi Rum and Moab, Utah, but one of the best places to live out your wildest glamping dreams is in Arizona, much thanks to an incredible resort.

Verde Ranch RV Resort is an outdoor lover’s dream come true. With options for glamorous camping, err, glamping, cozy cabin stays, or that sweet van life, Verde Ranch is the solution to getting closer to nature without sacrificing the feeling of being cozy and comfortable. Plus, it’s located in Camp Verde, which is only two hours from the Grand Canyon, making it a great stop on an Arizona road trip.

Glamping galore

Couple enjoying glamping site

There are a few glamping options at Verde Ranch RV Resort. First, there’s the Conestoga Wagons. These glamping setups are western-themed, made entirely of wood, and come with a king-size bed and bunk bed. The Conestoga Wagons can comfortably sleep four. There’s a private heated bathhouse, a refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker, A/C and a heater, WiFi, and outlets. And don’t worry about those DIY camping showers; there’s an enclosed shower right behind the wagon.

Your next glamping option at Verde Ranch RV Resort is a luxury safari tent. There are two luxury safari tents in total; one is equipped with one king-size bed, and the other, with a king-size bed paired with two twin beds. Both luxury safari tents come with a stand-up shower and a clawfoot bathtub, a porch with two Adirondack chairs, and similarly to the Conestoga Wagons, a refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker, A/C and a heater, WiFi, and outlets.

Regardless of which glamping option you choose, you are welcome to bring camping chairs, speakers for music at a reasonable volume, cookware, and propane camp cooking sets. If you don’t feel like cooking, the resort is conveniently within DoorDash delivery range, where you can order from chain restaurants like Sonic and Johnny Rockets, or local eateries like Wingfield Bread Company and Gabriela’s Taco Shop.

RV sites and cabins

Van life couple

If glamping isn’t speaking to you but you’re still interested in visiting this stunning resort, you have a few other options. For those who are all about that van life, this is an RV resort, after all, so you’re in luck. There are 389 hook-up RV sites, and as long as yours is a model from the last 20 years, you can make either nightly or weekly reservations.

Of course, there are also the most comfortable of the bunch: the cabins. Each cabin is fully furnished, has a porch, and has air conditioning and heating. There’s also a TV, cookware and dishes, picnic tables, and if you have a furry friend to join you, the cabins are pet-friendly. Depending on the type you book, the cabin can hold anywhere from six to eight people.

Whether it’s glamping, camping in your RV, or staying in a cabin, you’ll have access to plenty of amenities at the resort. On site, there’s a laundry facility, a heated pool, pickleball courts, a K9 corner, hot tubs, a playground, and even fire pits, golf carts, and picnic table rentals. Safe to say, Verde Ranch RV Resort expands far beyond what you imagine when you think of typical bare-bones glamping.
