Just look outside Disney’s rides and attractions and you’ll find dozens, if not hundreds, of strollers lined up by savvy parkgoers.
Even though a stroller can make your day at Disney easier to manage, it can also create a few complications of its own — particularly if you misplace it. You might not find your stroller where you left it, and if its color and size look similar to others, you could have a hard time tracking it down in the stroller corral.
Thankfully, Lesley Sawhook, a travel TikToker under the handle @lesleyetp, has a super simple tip to help you quickly identify your stroller. In a clip, which has earned over 42,000 likes at the time of publication, Sawhook suggests tying a balloon or bright ribbon to your stroller to make it stand out from the crowd. You can even buy a balloon right at the park — just be sure to remember its design before walking away. As a bonus tip, a commenter on the video added that they attach glow sticks to their stroller at night so it’s easy to spot even in the dark.

No matter how fun a trip to Walt Disney World can be, problems can still arise, and you could lose your stroller even with its Mickey balloon or brightly colored ribbon. So what should you do if your stroller seems to be nowhere in sight? First, remain calm and scan the area again. Sometimes, cast members (Disney park employees) move strollers to keep the parking corrals organized. Search nearby rows and ask a staff member for help if you can’t spot it. Chances are, they’ll be able to point you in the right direction.
If you still can’t find your stroller, or if you realize that something inside the stroller has gone missing, consult the park’s lost and found, either at the guest services counter or online. Disney will use the information you provide to try to locate the item. Within 48 hours, the park will offer an update, though in some unfortunate instances, they may not be able to track down your stroller or other lost items. In these cases, consider watching for your lost goods online, such as on Facebook Marketplace, and narrow your search to the Orlando area. Finding your belongings for sale might not reverse the disappointment of having them stolen, but it could help you retrieve your valuables — and keep a criminal from entering Disney World again in the future.
Other stroller tips to keep in mind at Disney World
Besides adorning your stroller with identifiable decorations, there are a few other pointers to keep in mind before heading to Disney World. First, make sure your stroller follows the park’s guidelines, including its size rules. According to the Walt Disney World website, strollers must not exceed 31 inches (79 centimeters) in width and 52 inches (132 centimeters) in length. Additionally, wagon-style strollers are forbidden in the park.
If your stroller doesn’t meet these dimensions, or if you’re still worried about stroller snatchers, consider renting instead. Disney allows guests to borrow strollers for a daily fee, which can vary depending on the length of your visit. When renting, be sure to keep the original receipt in a safe place. If you misplace the stroller, simply present the receipt to one of the park’s rental locations for a replacement at no additional charge.
