Nestled in the wild and untouched wilderness of the African savannah is a luxury wildlife paradise. Founded in 1982, Desert and Delta Safaris is on a mission to foster a sustainable ecotourism model, bridging the gap between humans and nature without disrupting the sacred life cycle of the African savannah. Their highly trained guides invite visitors on an unparalleled journey through the African wilderness, offering up-close encounters with large predatory wildlife, including lions, leopards, zebras, and elephants. Makgadikgadi Pans National Park

Desert and Delta Safaris’s Four Night Moremi and Boteti Package offers up-close and personal encounters with the country’s indigenous inhabitants — a rare and intimate experience! The journey is split between Leroo La Tau and Camp Moremi. The Boteti River, which is part of the larger Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, borders the region where the annual zebra migration occurs. Guests spend the second half of the excursion at Camp Moremi, one of several luxury safari camps. Located in the Moremi Game Reserve, professional guides point out exotic wildlife species, ranging from wild leopards and impalas to herds of African elephants and prides of lions.

The Six night Savute and Delta Green Season Discovery occurs during the savannah’s green season, which falls between late October to March. The excess rain in the region beckons mammals in the Savute marshlands to venture further along the channels, creating the perfect opportunity to view apex predators up close in their natural habitat. The damp grasslands of the channel were once part of a large inland sea, yet today, they provide a bountiful hunting range for predators. Today, they’re known for housing large populations of elephants, cheetahs, leopards, and wild dogs.

The back half of the trip is spent at the lodges in the Okavango Delta. The waterways and channels of the Okavango Delta have been described as “the jewel of Kalahari” and one of the best locations to spot African wildlife. Papyrus swamps and lagoons are home to everything from hippos and gazelles to various species of exotic birds.
