Located in the historic town of Milton, Florida, Splash is a luxurious resort that’s less than 30 minutes from Navarre Beach. It offers a wide list of amenities and activities, one of which is the most exciting of all: an on-site water park. Enormous water slides, a lazy river, and multiple pools will be in your backyard when you stay at the resort. The water park is just the beginning, however, as the park offers an endless variety of things to enjoy that will make your family vacation special.

One specific way that the Splash Resort offers a unique experience for its guests is by providing them with a wide choice of accommodations. If you choose to bring your own RV, there are over 300 sites available, all situated on concrete with paved roads throughout the park. But Splash will even provide you with an RV to use during your stay if you haven’t brought your own, with several sizes to choose from, each of which will be dropped off and set up for guests. In addition, two more choices of lodging will make you feel like you’ve taken glamping to a whole new level. Luxury cottages can sleep up to six people, with a queen bed and a loft with twin beds. Each cottage has a full bathroom and a full kitchen with all the necessities, such as a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and a dishwasher.

Guests may choose a different type of glamping experience if they decide to sleep in a luxurious covered wagon. The Conestoga Wagon looks like a picture from a history book, but inside is a plush king bed and twin-sized bunk beds. Outside the wagons is a common area with a fire pit and plenty of seating. There’s also an enormous 26-foot teepee, a perfect spot to play hide-and-seek in the evening. Golf carts are available for rent to make it easy to travel from your lodging to the rest of the resort.

Breakfast, lunch items, and memorable desserts are available in the food pavilion (who wants an ice cream float or a waffle cone?). In addition, the Tiki Bar offers refreshments that adults will particularly enjoy. Splash hosts a calendar of events that varies each day, such as pickleball, gaga ball, and cornhole tournaments. There are also hula-hoop dance parties, family game nights, and bingo in the biergarten. There’s so much to enjoy at the Splash Resort, you may find you never need to leave the premises during your stay. However, it can also be a home base for your family as you explore the area and enjoy some of the unique experiences that you can only have in Florida. Afterward, come back and unwind by riding the water slide one more time!

For those who are looking for a little quiet time to relax, the resort offers many activities that are geared toward those who appreciate a slower pace. Yoga sessions are offered several mornings a week, monthly paint sessions are always enjoyable, and “Sip and Solve” mornings are a special time with a cup of coffee or tea along with a jigsaw puzzle. Of course, you can always slip into an inner tube and relax as you float along the lazy river under the shade of the bordering palm trees. This calm moment will give you a chance to pause as you reflect on the wonderful memories that your family is enjoying together.
