Winter fun in a desert

The ski resort has several snowy paths, many of which are kid-friendly. You can stick to the easier routes, challenge yourself to a difficult one, or find an option that serves as an in-between. If you want to brush up on your skills or learn some techniques, you can sign up for a skiing or snowboarding lesson. Children must be at least three years old to enter and must be accompanied by an adult between ages three and 14. Plan your visit right, and you can come for a Ladies’ Night, Student Night, or Youth Night.

In addition to skiing and snowboarding, you can spend time with waddling friends — penguins! The ski resort cares for king penguins and gentoo penguins and creates opportunities for people to interact with the birds. You can get different packages that allow for entry to the snow park. The packages range from 230 (about $63) AED to 450 AED (about $123).

Outside of Ski Dubai

You can get family packages that range from 1,000 to 1,500 AED (between $272 and $408). Customize your package by adding ski or snowboarding lessons, a locker to store your stuff, and other features to improve your experience. In addition to a place to snowboard and ski, Ski Dubai has a café. You can pause and have a nice, cozy cup of hot chocolate or refuel with coffee at the café before hitting the slopes again. If you’ve had enough skiing or snowboarding for the day but aren’t ready to return to the outside heat, you can admire ice sculptures in the ice cave.

If you’re looking for a unique, exciting, family-friendly adventure, add Dubai Ski to your destinations to visit in Dubai. You will have access to the luxuries of Dubai and the opportunity to do cold weather activities in a desert — it’s a win for everyone.
