Mount Blue State Park offers a variety of hiking trails for all skill levels. The Mt. Blue Trail can be challenging, but the views you’ll see on the way to the observation tower at the peak make it worthwhile. The Center Hill Nature Trail is a great choice if you’re looking for an easier option. The Hopping Frog Nature Trail and the Swett Brook Trail are also worth checking out.

If swimming is your family’s favorite pastime, the park’s beach is the perfect spot. You can also launch your boat to explore Webb Lake and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. If you’re in the mood for a picnic, the lush greenery and serene lakeside make it an ideal location. When visiting the park, there are a few things to remember that will keep you safe and comfortable. For instance, be sure to prepare for weather changes, as it is known for being unpredictable. Stay on established trails and protect yourself from insects, including ticks. Don’t rely solely on technology in emergencies, as cell service can be spotty. With planning and preparation, Mount Blue State Park can be the ideal place for your next family vacation or weekend away.
