Whether off-the-beaten path Dominica for a budget-friendly island vacation or a generous slice of luxurious Barbados, the Caribbean is never a bad idea. That is especially true for those seeking a paradisal honeymoon. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the Caribbean is one of the most popular regions for lovebirds to flock to freshly after getting married.
Romantic respites need not only be reserved for newlyweds, however. Whether it’s an anniversary or simply a getaway with your special someone, the Caribbean makes for a convenient escape to leave your worries at home and spice up the romance in your relationship. Out of all the resorts across the many islands in the region, fewer do it better than Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort in Aruba. Sure, the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea don’t hurt the setting. Still, Bucuti & Tara give great attention to every detail at this intimate resort, making it the romantic getaway of your dreams.

What is it about Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort that brings the romance factor a step above the rest? First and foremost, it’s an adults-only resort, so you won’t be interrupted by screaming children while you’re enjoying the peace and quiet of each other’s company. And with only 104 boutique rooms, you won’t be in crowded company. Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort isn’t only reserved for heterosexual couples and is proudly an LGBTQIA+-friendly resort. It also caters to large groups, making it a note that only one table in their restaurant can accommodate a group of six and the rest are for parties of two.
Speaking of the on-site restaurant, you and your loved one can dine from one of the resort’s four cabanas, with seating at 6:00 p.m. (sunset seating) and 8:30 p.m. (moonlight seating). Since Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort is not an all-inclusive resort like many on the island, this service costs $195.74 per couple. That’s not the only curated romantic experience the resort offers. There are also couples massages, sunset catamaran tours, stargazing with a nightcap, white-glove Champagne service, and a “honeymoon like a celebrity arrival” package.
